Plan Description
This map gives the hispanic population of Maricopa a unified voice. It also gives rural Maricopans a unified voice in North and South divisions. Finally, the map gives the East Valley a unified voice and unifies Central Phoenix's unique culture with the university areas. 1. Give rural Arizona a unified voice that isn't subject to urban voters in Maricopa or Pima. 2. Give Tucson a unified voice 3. Give Hispanics in Maricopa county an extremely unified voice. The Hispanic community has long been vocal about wanting their voice to be heard in politics. This map assures the Hispanic population that they will have an extremely strong say in not only general elections, but also primaries. 4. Unite the area around Arcadia with the non-Hispanic parts of West Phoenix and the ASU area as they have many cultural similarities.

They are areas with high levels of recent immigration and minority presence - guaranteeing minorities a voice in Arizona's congressional delegation. 4. This district unifies North Central Phoenix with the non-Hispanic parts of West Phoenix and the ASU area. 5. This district contains Fountain Hills, its sister communities in the North East Valley, and the retirement communities of the West Valley.
