Plan Description
Makes LD7 competitive and LD6 less packed. Puts Central Yavapai County with Mohave in LD30. Keeps Nogales and Rio Rico together and Santa Cruz Co undivided. More balanced and now 7 competitive districts.
Plan Objective
Makes LD7 competitive and more compact again, and LD6 less packed. Puts Central Yavapai County with Mohave for a better COI in LD30. Creates a better balance statewide and a 7th competitive district. Honors Navajo/Hopi and other area Tribes' request to be together. Keeps Nogales and Rio Rico together, Santa Cruz/Apache/Navajo/La Paz/Cochise counties undivided, Gila Bend, Flagstaff, Sedona undivided, and the Copper Corridor together, Tanque Verde and Catalina Foothills together.

The Independent Redistricting Commission appointed in 2021 will complete its work on June 28, 2024. After this time the IRC Office will be closed. A new Commission will be appointed in January 2031.
