Plan Description
This map has multiple competitive districts that support the People of Arizona. This map is also relatively compact and mostly county compliant.
Plan Objective
The objective of this plan was to create competitive seats that support competitive elections. Based on a composite of recent Arizonian elections, this map would lead to 2 Safe Republican Seats (The 9th and the 5th), 2 Safe Democratic Seats (The 7th and the 3rd), 1 Democratic Leaning seat (The 2nd), 1 Republican Leaning seat (The 8th), And 3 pure tossup seats that both parties have a relatively good chance of victory in. (The 1st, 4th, and 6th) This map would allow competitive elections and will not have the same result every election year.
