Plan Description
This map draws straighter lines for D6 around Casa Grande. Pulls the D6/D7 boundary in Tucson to Pantano Rd (instead of going through a neighborhood) and picks up the Tucson Mnt range population outside the areas of Marana and up to the Pinal county line...and includes the shopping district in the city of Yuma to D7 for a straighter line. This also leave D6 as almost a 50/50 district.
Plan Objective
Please have Lerner and Mehl look at this plan. It creates a 50/50 D6 by moving D6/D7 boundary to Pantano Rd in the panhandle area. It picks up the Tucson Mnt population up to Pinal County line to D7. It adds shopping district within Yuma City limits to D7. It also evens out lines in the Casa Grande area for more straight lines. D6, D7 and D2 area almost perfect.
