Plan Description
This CD map accommodates the Navajo Nation region and lowers D2 into D6. D6 also rises above Pinal County line to include the growing far suburbs of Tucson like Red Rock, Saddlebrook, Oracle, San Manuel and Mammoth with the highway as a dividing line. D6 and D7 basically split Tucson with Davis Monthan AFB as part of the Border corridor. D8 now includes New River, Carefree and Cave Creek and D1 includes North Mountain Preserve and Sunnyslope.
Plan Objective

The Independent Redistricting Commission appointed in 2021 will complete its work on June 28, 2024. After this time the IRC Office will be closed. A new Commission will be appointed in January 2031.
