Plan Description
2 out of 3 people in Arizona live in the greater Pheonix metro area. In this plan I have isolated all of norther Maricopa County and part of Pinal County as the 'Greater Pheonix Metro Area'. Within this area are 6 or Arizona's 9 US Congressional seats.
Plan Objective
2 out of 3 people in Arizona live in the greater Phoenix metro area and therefore should have 6 US Congressional seats that represent them. In this plan these are districts 1-6. Districts 7-9 represent the 1 out of 3 Arizonan's that live outside that area with 2 in the south and 1 in the north. PlanScore suggests this map is 'balanced'.
