Plan Description
This is Version B of the 5+ Eastern Counties Plan. The 5 Rural Eastern Counties: Graham, Greenlee, Gila, southern Navajo and Apache Co.s; the Copper Corridor, Verde Valley. Version B excludes the San Carlos and White Mt. Apache Nations allowing for each Apache govt to represent their interests. Version A includes the Apache Nations with Eastern Arizona.
Plan Objective
Our rural citizens transcend partisan and demographic lines to support returning our rural voice to the Legislature. We call on you to undo the injury put on us in 2011. Version B excludes the San Carlos and White Mt. Apache nations, leaving them to join the Navajo and Hopi, if that is their desire. Version A joins them with Eastern AZ. The Apache govt.s will decide for themselves. 5+ Eastern Counties: Graham, Greenlee, Gila, southern Navajo and Apache; copper corridor, and Verde Valley. Alternately, rural Cochise Co is a like community of interest.
