Plan Description
This map has been created to ensure that our Arizona districts congressional are fair and competitive. This map also ensures that Arizona's congressional districts will be contiguous, it is respectful of communities of interest, and it incorporates geographic features.
Plan Objective
The purpose of this map firstly is to have both fair and competitive districts, districts in Maricopa county have been drawn with this in mind. Other maps see, to be less competitive specifically in Maricopa county and this map fixes that. This map has also been drawn to respect communities of interest, to be contiguous, and to incorporate visible geographic features.
