Comments = "Starting with the Draft Legislative Map  I recreated LD13 as a suburban LD in western Maricopa Co.  keeping together Surprise  Litchfield Park  Goodyear & their annexation easements  because Goodyear extends further south & largely surrounds it  I included Gila Bend in LD13  too. Since Buckeye extends northward  and Wickenburg extends southward  and their annexation easements co-mingle  I placed them together in LD22 along with other small  rural communites in west and NW Maricopa Co. To keep Sun City West separate from Sun City  in LD21   I placed Sun City West in LD22. My recreation of Draft LD13 made it necessary to adjust LD04  and I placed as much of Yuma Co. & the City of Yuma into LD04 as practicable. I preserved LD04 as a majority-minority LD. Adjustment of LD04 in west AZ made it necessary to readjust LD04 in SE AZ  and that entailed adjustments to LD04 s neighboring LDs in SE AZ. I did keep the Native American Nations in the LDs drafted for them  then I placed entire counties into their own LDs when practicable throughout rural AZ. I made other adjustments to central Maricopa Co. as necessary."
